What is UpNorthTV?

It's YOU!  Unlike broadcast television and commercial cable services that deliver programs to you, UpNorth TV is TV that YOU DO.  You pick the topic, you write the script, you run the camera, and you edit the video.  Simply put, you become a Producer.

UpNorth TV is funded in-part through franchise fees collected from local cable companies in exchange for the use of public right-of-ways.  Everyone who lives in Northwest Lower Michigan is welcome to participate, and it's free for residents of these contributing jurisdictions:

• Charter Township of Garfield
• City of Traverse City
• East Bay Charter Township
• Elmwood Charter Township

UpNorth TV cablecasts locally produced and submitted programs on Charter Communications Cable Channel 97 (analog) and 2 and 992 (digital).
