National Writers Series: An Evening with Daniel Silva LIVE on UpNorthTV

UpNorthTV cable channels 97 & 992 will be LIVE from the City Opera House in TC as bestselling spy novelist Daniel Silva kicks off his national book tour with the National Writers Series on Thursday, July 21 at 7 p.m. Silva has written over 10 spy novels, all of which have been New York Times Bestsellers, including “Moscow Rules,” “The Defector” and “The Rembrandt Affair.” Earlier this year, Universal announced it will soon be bringing Silva’s creations to life on the big screen. The evening will conclude with a reception and book signing with the author. Tickets to attend the event in person can be purchased at the City Opera House.

Call for Producers: Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department Grand Opening

Grand Traverse Metro Fire Dept

The Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department seeks volunteer producers to film the Grand Opening of the new Fire Station #12 on Saturday, August 13. An open house runs from 12 noon to 3 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. The new station is located at 2025 East Silver Lake Road in Traverse City.
