The UpNorth TV Teleganza! is a musical celebration of public access television in northern Michigan, held March 1 & 2, 2012 - all to raise funds to benefit the region's nonprofit community. Proceeds will support the "UpNorth TV Roadshow for Charity", an innovative program to provide free video services to nonprofits in Northern Michigan. This program showcases the musical duo - Treehuggers. The Treehuggers are Katie Larson (15) and Savannah Buist (16). They met in Philharmonic Orchestra at Traverse City West High School and soon realized they had EVERYTHING in common. They play multiple various instruments each, including but not limited to guitar, cello, ukulele, violin, mandolin, banjo, piano, accordion, and kazoo (it counts). Their melodies will stay with you for days and their harmonies will make you want to sing along. Don't miss their very first solo CD coming out in February called "Tangled Red and Blue," which is also the name of the title track.
