The Northwest Michigan United Way presents information, testimonials and discussion on area non-profits, service organizations, philanthropy and volunteerism. The November 2009 program highlights the 211 system-the social equivalent of 911 in our area. Additionally, we visit with staff of the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA to discuss the meriad of activities and resources available to area residents.
