The purpose of the Consent Calendar is to expedite business by grouping non-controversial items together to be dealt with by one Commission on Aging motion without discussion. Any member of the board, staff, or the public may ask that any item on the Consent Calendar be removed and placed elsewhere on the agenda for full discussion. Such requests will be automatically respected.

If any item is not removed from the Consent Calendar, the action noted is approved by a single Commission on Aging action adopting the Consent Calendar.

a. Approval of the November 4, 2014 Board meeting minutes. (4-10)

b. Acceptance of the October In Home Services and Senior Center Network Program Reports. (Executive and Program Committees recommend acceptance.) (14, 16-20) (55, 58-65)

c. Approval

of a two year contract (January 2015-December 2016) for Home Chore equipment maintenance with Lark Lawn and Garden, pursuant to Staff Recommendation dated October 30, 2014. (Finance and Program Committees recommend approval.) (33-34, 67-68) (55-56, 67-68)

d. Approval

of a one year contract (January 2015-December 2015) for Home Chore vehicle maintenance (and/or oil changes) with D&W Auto; and NorthWest Oil Express for oil changes; pursuant to Staff Recommendation dated October 30, 2014. e. Approval of a two year contract (January 2015-December 2016) for On Call Contract Services with Comfort Keepers; pursuant to Staff Recommendation dated November 14, 2014. (Finance and Program Committees recommend approval.) (33-34, 74-78) (57-58, 74-78)

f. Approval

of the 2015 Outside Agency Funding as follows: Area Agency of Northwest Michigan $7,503; Catholic Human Services for Senior Companion Program $10,000; Long Lake Township for the Long Lakers Senior Group $1,200; and Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency for Meals on Wheels $20,000.
