The purpose of the Consent Calendar is to expedite business by grouping non-controversial items together to be dealt with by one Commission on Aging motion without discussion. Any member of the board, staff, or the public may ask that any item on the Consent Calendar be removed and placed elsewhere on the agenda for full discussion. Such requests will be automatically respected.

If any item is not removed from the Consent Calendar, the action noted is approved by a single Commission on Aging action adopting the Consent Calendar.

ACTION

a. Approval of the September 2, 2014 Board meeting minutes. (4-7)
b. Acceptance of the August In Home Services and Senior Center Network Program Reports. (Executive and Program Committees recommend acceptance.) (17, 21-25) (52-53, 57-65)
c. Approval to set aside $250,000 from the Senior Center Network fund balance for the Traverse City Senior Center renovation project furnishings and appliances. (Executive Committee recommends approval.) (17, 26, 31)
d. Immediate approval for the purchase of MySeniorCenter software for the Senior Center Network. (Executive Committee recommends immediate approval.) (18)
e. Approval

to award a three year contract to provide personal emergency response unit services, up to 500 units, to Guardian Medical Monitoring at a cost of $13.95 per unit. (Finance and Program Committees recommend approval.) (29-30) (48-50 recommendation for both) (53-54)

f. Approval to lower fees for all programs to the same charged for the Home Chore program for consistency. (Finance Committee recommends approval.) (30-31)
