Here are a few standard procedures Producers will use frequently, along with links to the necessary forms.
Submit a Single Program for Cablecasting
- In order to submit a program to be cablecast on Up North 2, you must be a registered Up North 2 Producer.
- Fill out an Up North 2 Airtime Request Form (paper copies are available at LIAA).
- Bring your program on DVD, miniDV tape, or digital media to LIAA with the completed form.
Submit a Series Program for Cablecasting
- In order to submit a program to be cablecast on Up North 2, you must be a registered Up North 2 Producer.
- Fill out an Up North 2 Series Program Agreement and an Airtime Request Form.
- Bring a minimum of 3 completed series episodes on DVD, miniDV tape, or digital media to LIAA with the form.
- Deliver each remaining episode of your series at least one week prior to each air date.
Make an Equipment Reservation
- In order to check out equipment from Up North 2, you must be a certified Up North 2 Field Producer.
- Determine a name for your project. You must identify your project to Up North 2 staff to check out equipment.
- Call 231-929-3696 week days between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, or email stationmanager@liaa.org, with the following information: Name of Project, Equipment Required, Check Out Date (Monday, Wednesday or Friday only), Return Date.
- Up North 2 staff will have your equipment ready for you on the requested Check Out Date.
Check Out Production Equipment
- In order to check out equipment from Up North 2, you must be a certified Up North 2 Field Producer.
- Come to LIAA between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm on the Monday, Wednesday or Friday on which you reserved the equipment. If you did not make a reservation, you may walk in during the check out hours, but we cannot guarantee that the equipment you need will be available.
- You will have to sign an Equipment Check Out Form (available at LIAA) when you pick up the equipment (Note: A parent or guardian must co-sign for applicants under 18).
Make a Studio Time Reservation
- In order to use the studio, you must be a certified Up North 2 Studio Producer.
- Determine a name for your project. You must identify your project to Up North 2 staff to make a studio reservation.
- Call 231-929-3696 week days between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, or email stationmanager@liaa.org, with the following information: Name of Project, Equipment Required, Reservation Date(s) and Time(s).
- Up North 2 staff will add your reservation to the Studio Calendar and have the studio ready for you.
