Special Opportunities for Producers

Are you a Certified Producer with Up North 2? We need your help! Volunteer and Contract Producers are needed to help individuals and groups throughout the area create new video content. Can you spare a little time to help?

The CMC and Up North 2 are working to assure that citizens, local units of government, and nonprofit organizations throughout the 7-county viewing area can tell their stories, deliver information and educational content, and celebrate the culture of northwest Lower Michigan. If you are community-oriented and interested in helping others with their video productions, let us help match you with an individual or group that needs you.

Volunteer Options - Can you find time to help others? Let us know. We will try to match you with an opportunity to help people make high-quality videos. There are hundreds of deserving individuals and nonprofit organizations in our area looking for video production assistance. Let us know if you can help. Please fill out the Producer Availability Form and we'll work to identify a match for you.

Contractor Options - Occasionally, the CMC will need Certified Producers to help with projects funded by service grants, local units of government, and other nonprofits. For example, we may need Producers to help run cameras at public meetings or create instructional videos for a particular agency (e.g., fire department). If you are interested in working as a contractor for CMC, please fill out a Producer Availability Form.  We also ask that you provide a brief recent resume and two references. If you qualify, we will contact you about projects as funding and opportunities develop.
