A Win-Win Situation

The UpNorth Media Center is an assistive organization, enabling our community's individuals, groups, nonprofit organizations, businesses and government to better realize their goals through the understanding and effective use of communication tools.

Our success is measured by how well others succeed.

We provide a televised forum for legal, non-commercial speech; a place for self-expression at little or no cost.  We offer training programs to certify members to use our tools-which range from cameras to editing suites to studio production facilities.  We transmit community programming across Northwest Lower Michigan on cable channel 97 and around the globe on the Internet.  And, we respond to the needs of the community by crafting unique, low-cost solutions to communication challenges using our expertise and multimedia tools.
