I have a regularly scheduled show.  Where should I bring the DVD for broadcast?

Please bring your show to LIAA, 324 Munson Ave., Traverse City.

I have a regularly scheduled show.  Will I get the same time slot on Up North 2 that I had on tctv2?

TV2 viewers have often asked for a more consistent schedule of types of programming.  We are currently working out a scheduling system that will meet this need.  Therefore, your time slot may change, but once changed will be consistent.  We would appreciate your help in setting up this schedule.  Please write us your thoughts, or attend a Producer's Forum to let us know what you think.

I'm a registered producer.  How do I check out a camera?

Please call the CMC at 231-929-3696 to make an equipment reservation.  You can pick up the equipment on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at LIAA.

If I have been a Producer for tctv2, what do I have to do to continue my Producer status under Up North 2?
If you have produced shows for cablecast on tctv2, you will not be required to take additional classes. However, you must confirm and update your contact information by filling out and submitting a Producer Information Update Form on this web site.

In the past, tctv2 would not provide services to Producers who live outside of Traverse City, Garfield Charter Township, or Elmwood Charter Township because the other municipalities had stopped providing funding for public access television. Will this restriction be lifted by Up North 2?

Yes! Anyone who becomes a certified Producer is allowed to use the video equipment and cablecast on Up North 2. Producers who do not live in one of the jurisdictions listed on the Contributing Municipalities page will be asked to pay fees to help offset costs. However, Producers who become Community Media Center members ($50 annual fee) will gain access to services for no additional costs.
